I didn't come into the conversation to carry it so long, but I thought I would share it since I was the only one that felt a certain reaction to the piece more than the quality of craftsmanship. It is hard to look at any artwork from Jusko today without remembering this moment. That's why I say to people that artists are human and sometimes can be real jerks. I was probably a jerk myself. I went to a Barnes & Noble and saw that ImagineFX magazine #56 is in the magazine stands. I was featured as "Artist of the Month" on pages 8-9. I also saw I was in Fantasy Art Volume #1 for it's rival company with the tutorial I did on The Break-up (pages 164-169)

Malice in Wonderland Art Show

It was almost 3 weeks of nothing but painting and finishing all the crazy stuff for the show including helping a very old man move all his stuff out of the gallery. We got a great crowd and people seems to enjoy the show very much. We had friends wearing rabbit masks and some people dressed up a little cooky. It was great. The pics are up on the site. I will be part of an Art Show in the Miami Design District called "Malice in Wonderland". I'm very excited to show with these talented artists. We have been preparing for this event for a while and here is all the information.

"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary-wise, what it is wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?"

Welcome to Malice in Wonderland!

This show will take you on a marvelous adventure into the unknown. Ray Azcuy, Lu Coxhead, Luis Diaz and Yamel Molerio will surprise you with an array of artwork exploring familiar settings with a twist of malice. The artworks will explore the tragic and inevitable loss of childhood innocence, life as a meaningless puzzle, and death as a constant and underlying menace. All of the pieces have a dream-like quality while dealing with diverse personal issues. The curious viewers may find themselves looking at confusing themes that they could simply regard as nonsense or approach the work and explore at a deeper level to discover meaning beneath the layer of paint.
